On July 1, 2020 Drive The Globe began what is the most epic endeavor in our 25 year history. Our 41 year old Mercedes Unimog & custom overland expedition trailer rolled out of home base one final time.
13 months later the pandemic altered journey continues with an all new Global Overland Expedition Vehicle, our 1994 in house custom built Stewart & Stevenson M1079.

Building The Ultimate Overland Expedition Camp Trailer
This video series focuses on our custom overland expedition trailer build for our 1979 Mercedes Unimog Doka 416. Follow along as we continue to outfit the interior & install the equipment in the quest to create the ultimate off road camp trailer.
Trans-Africa Expedition
In the Spring of 2001, DRIVE THE GLOBE | Overland Adventures completed Stage I of its Trans-Africa Expedition.
These videos features highlights of the Sahara crossing, made between Nouadhibou and Nouakchott Mauritania, a vast, desolate desert expanse where the only road is the wind swept sand dunes and hard rock strewn piste.
This nearly 250 mile journey took three days and saw temperatures climb to over 110 degrees fahrenheit. It was completed with four Land Rover expedition vehicles.
